“In 1994, Trent was interviewed and asked about comparisons between his negativity and Kurt Cobain’s and if they should be worried for him. He said that he had battled drug addiction in the past (the “past” part was a lie), but he “never stuck a needle in his arm” and that was the difference between them. His grandmother read that and the drug addiction was news to her and she was upset about it. It was shortly after that that she died and Trent was very depressed over the fact that some of her last memories of him was finding out that he was a drug addict”
